Job Summary:
Ardisam, Inc. is an outdoor seasonal product company looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join our growing operation. The primary role of this position is planning and executing the flow of outbound shipments in compliance with our retailers and full customer base.


Job Duties:
• Prioritize orders to the warehouse floor in coordination with Sales and Management
• Develop deep understanding of customer requirements across assigned retail accounts
• Daily interaction within customer TMS submitting routes and advanced shipment notifications
• Shopping freight across carrier partners, and coordination with local freight terminals to ensure pickups
• Generations of all shipping documents- including BOLs, packing lists, required labels, international docs, etc.
• Collaborate with team members and management to resolve conflict and optimize processes
• Understands and adheres to organizational and department policies and procedures


Qualifications and Skills:
• Minimum 3 years previous experience in a shipping/logistics role
• Working knowledge of the LTL (less than truckload) environment and requirements
• Continuous improvement mentality- not settling for status quo
• Self-starter and willingness to take on and tackle new challenges independently
• Able to resolve conflict respectively and in a timely manner – involves management as necessary
• Management experience a plus
